Hot water just cooks the wrinkles in. Wash warm or cool ,dry medium or low and hang up as soon as removed from dryer.

If these pants still have the washing/care instructions on them, there is your best way to take care of them.

Get some distilled (white) vinegar and put a 1/2 cup in two cups of water and spray it on the wrinkled areas then iron it. Polyester is made using acidic acid and can only be changed by the same means. The vinegar smell will evaporate away as you iron it.

It called fabric softner and fabric softner sheets.

Try this:
Wash the pants alone in the washer (half full of warm water and some detergent).
Remove the pants after the spin cycle is complete.
Shake out the pants 10 times; this takes out some wrinkles.
Put them in the dryer for only 5 minutes. This warms the fabric and most of the wrinkles should come out.
Remove the pants immediately from the dryer after 5 minutes. Find the crease in the pants and hang them on a hanger until dry, (overnight).
When the pants are dry, they should be wrinkle-free. If there are still wrinkles, iron the pants (on Low). Be sure to use a pressing cloth, so the iron doesn’t leave a shiny mark on the fabric.
